We’ll be sailing to COP 30.
This climate conference will take place from November 10 to 21, 2025 in Belem, Brazil.

From mainland Europe, Tall Ship Twister will sail us to Belem, powered by wind. On board we have facilities to continue working or meet and prepare for the COP.

This voyage is meant for people who want to visit COP30 but it is not just about the destination. This trip is a showcase of sustainable and meaningful travelling. The time on board is used to connect to your fellow travellers, to prepare for COP30 and enjoy the beauty of the ocean and the places we visit during the stopovers!

Hop on board in Amsterdam (NL), Fowey (UK), A Coruna (ESP) or Lisbon (PT)

Whoever likes can help sailing the ship. Sailing experience is not a neccesity to join this journey, the experienced crew is happy to teach you. If you like, we'll make you a real sailor along the way!

Tall Ship Twister is equipped with satellite internet, providing a stable connection to people ashore so work can be continued even in the middle of the ocean.

Arrived in Belem, the ship anchors on the river and can be your basecamp. The crew will taxi back and forth to the shore with the dingy during the day. Secluded meetings can be organised on the ship as well.

After the COP we sail back to Europe. But we have to take the seasons and weathersystem of the Atlantic Ocean into account. Directly after the COP the conditions on the Atlantic will be harsh and unpleasant. We offer to bring you to the wonderfull island of Tinidad after the COP to have a va- or stay-cation and to hop back on board when the conditions are favourable to sail back to Europe.

Important to know: The ship(s) we sail to COP 30 have an auxiliary engine and generators on board. We use the auxiliary engine to sail in and out of ports and if safety requires it. The trade winds on the Atlantic are fairly stable and reliable, it is well possible to complete the route by sail within the stipulated time. During this trip, generators will provide the ship with electricity. Their use will be limited as much as possible.
